About the role
The Project Finance Officer will lead financial coordination for the Soil Values programme across Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria and Mali. Reporting to the Country Finance Manager in Nigeria, the role ensures that financial and administrative processes meet consortium requirements and support the project's impact goals.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate overall finance activities for the programme in the four target countries.
- Work under the supervision of the Nigeria Country Finance Manager and collaborate with Country Finance Officers and Managers in the other three countries.
- Maintain and operate the SNV global finance system (SAP By Design) and manage invoicing for SNV‑backed consultants.
- Ensure compliance with the consortium Governance Agreement and financial reporting standards.
- Support the integration of community‑based and landscape approaches with financial planning.
Required profile
- Relevant degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
- Experience in project finance coordination, preferably in international development or agricultural programmes.
- Ability to work across multiple countries and with diverse stakeholder teams.
- Strong analytical and administrative skills.
