About the role
E-Direct is seeking a skilled tiler to join its construction team in Lagos. The role involves installing a variety of floor and wall tiles on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Key responsibilities
- Install floor and wall tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite and other suitable materials.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and filling cracks to make them ready for tiling.
- Measure areas accurately and calculate required quantities of tiles and materials.
- Mark work areas, establish straight lines, levels and tile patterns before installation.
- Cut and shape tiles to fit corners, edges, doorways and other obstacles.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortar, grout and related materials correctly.
- Lay tiles evenly, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, levelling and finishing.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year of tiling experience.
- At least SSCE level education.
Required skills
- Tile installation (floor and wall).
- Accurate measurement and quantity calculation.
- Tile cutting and shaping.
- Mixing and applying adhesives, mortar and grout.
