Product Manager

About the role

Duplo is a Lagos‑based fintech startup building a unified spend management and billing platform for businesses across Africa. As Product Manager you will own the strategy and roadmap for the Duplo Dashboard, driving adoption and revenue across Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Dashboard (Spend Management, Billing, TMS, e‑invoicing) in line with the broader platform.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the billing and compartmentalisation monetisation roadmap, from discovery and BRD/PRD creation to launch and adoption.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance and GTM teams to translate requirements into shippable product increments.
• Set and track success metrics (activation, adoption, revenue impact) and use data‑driven insights to prioritise the roadmap.
• Conduct customer discovery and stakeholder interviews across target markets to validate use cases and minimise churn during migration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5‑6 years of product management experience, preferably owning B2B fintech, payments or SaaS products from strategy through delivery.
• Proven track record shipping financial operations, monetisation or billing features (subscriptions, invoicing, usage‑based billing).
• Strong ability to write clear BRDs/PRDs and work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, compliance and GTM.
• Experience or strong interest in African markets and building B2B financial infrastructure across multiple countries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to influence without direct authority.
