About the role
The Procurement Officer will lead the sourcing and purchasing of construction and interior finishing materials for projects in Lagos. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of quality supplies within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement plans based on project requirements and approved budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of construction and interior finishing materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and ensure value for money.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and inventory teams to confirm material specifications and delivery timelines.
- Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular purchasing reports.
- Ensure materials meet approved quality standards and specifications.
- Build and maintain reliable supplier relationships.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
- At least a diploma in a related field.
