About the role
Centreville School is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join its team in Abuja. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, age‑appropriate lessons across core subjects and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Mathematics, English, Science and other core subjects.
- Assess, record, and report on students' academic progress and behavioural development.
- Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of an HND/BSc in Education or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised primary school.
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
