About the role
The Home Economics Educator will lead classroom instruction and support student development at Jewels Leading Lights Academy. This full‑time position focuses on delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and enforce classroom behavior rules.
- Prepare lessons, units, and projects aligned with learning objectives.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse interests and learning styles.
- Encourage students to explore learning opportunities and career paths.
- Create, assign, and grade assessments such as tests, quizzes, essays, and projects.
- Provide one‑on‑one support for students needing extra help.
- Track and evaluate academic progress and lead parent‑teacher meetings.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers, and supervisors.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- At least a degree in a related field.
