Plant Maintenance Manager – Electrical

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Manager – Electrical will schedule, communicate and allocate plant electrical activities and resources to meet power plant requirements, ensuring asset reliability and continuous performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance management for plant electrical activities in line with best standards.
• Organise and schedule the annual overhaul of power‑plant assets and facilities.
• Create, update and document maintenance plans and task lists.
• Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance work and assign resources.
• Utilise asset and maintenance management systems to oversee the lifecycle of physical assets.
• Support technical stores by linking planned maintenance with required spare parts.
• Deploy predictive‑maintenance tools to maximise machinery availability.
• Improve efficiency by increasing preventative maintenance and reducing breakdowns.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Proactive attitude with multitasking and time‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Electrical Engineering (BSc/HND).
• Predictive maintenance tools.
• Experience with automated mills.
