About the role

We are looking for an experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our client on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining high‑traffic web application services.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain PHP‑based backend services and RESTful APIs.
Optimize existing code for performance, security and scalability.
Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate server‑side logic.
Write clean, well‑documented code following best practices.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, including database queries and API endpoints.

Required profile

Minimum 3 years of professional PHP development experience.
Proficiency with PHP 7.x or 8.x and modern frameworks.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and query optimization.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
