Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Lagos)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our pharmacy in Ikeja, Lagos. The role involves dispensing medications, providing counseling, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately and safely.
• Provide professional advice and counselling to customers on proper use of medicines.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and assist with inventory management.
• Provide medication and basic health‑related information to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and pharmacy transactions.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals regarding patients' medications when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers.
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy.

Required profile

• B.Pharm or Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) and hold a valid practicing license.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a community pharmacy.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Must reside in Lagos and its environs.
