Personal Brand Manager, Content Creator & Video Editor

About the role

SMM by Hagital is hiring a full-time, on-site Personal Brand Manager, Content Creator and Video Editor in Lagos, Nigeria, preferably on the mainland (Ikeja, Ogba, Berger and surrounding areas). The role develops compelling content, manages brand presence and produces high-quality videos, including for churches, ministries and faith-based organisations. It turns raw footage from church services, sermons, events and programmes into engaging, professionally edited videos for social media.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage content for personal brands and business clients.
• Shoot, edit and produce videos for churches, including sermons, worship sessions, testimonies, conferences and special programmes.
• Edit raw church footage into reels, short clips, highlights and full-length videos.
• Develop content strategies aligned with clients' branding and communication goals.
• Manage social media pages and content calendars.
• Create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
• Capture quality photos and videos during events and on-site shoots.
• Stay up to date on social media trends and use creative ideas to improve engagement and brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content creation, video editing and brand management.
• Ability to edit church videos, including sermons and church events.
• Strong storytelling, visual communication and creative skills.
• Knowledge of social media management, content strategy and personal branding.
• Ability to work on site, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• A portfolio or showreel showing previous work is compulsory; church video editing samples can be included.

Required skills

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Social media management and content creation.
