People and Culture Intern

About the role

The People and Culture Intern will support the HR team at EHA Clinics in Kano by maintaining employee records, assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, and ensuring clear communication across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, enter, and regularly update employee data in both physical files and digital databases to keep records accurate and current.
• Establish, organize, and maintain a secure filing system for confidential company documents, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
• Compose and prepare HR correspondence, official letters, meeting agendas, and detailed minutes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Schedule interviews, meetings, and departmental events while managing the HR calendar to avoid conflicts.
• Screen incoming and outgoing correspondence, draft appropriate responses, and ensure timely communication.
• Update internal databases with new‑hire information and maintain up‑to‑date personnel records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or an official exemption.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
