About the role
E-Direct is seeking a reliable Painter to work on its hospitality and hotel projects in Ibadan, Oyo State. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints, and ensuring a professional finish on a variety of interior elements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and applying primers.
- Mix paints to achieve required colours and finishes.
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture and other assigned surfaces.
- Carry out repainting, touch‑up work and protect surrounding areas from paint stains.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment, and follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and ladders.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar painting role.
Required skills
- Surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, crack filling).
- Paint mixing and colour matching.
- Application of paints on walls, ceilings, doors, windows and furniture.
- Safe use of ladders and handling of paints and chemicals.
- Tool and equipment maintenance.
