OSP Manager

About the role

The OSP Manager will lead the planning, design and construction of outside‑plant (OSP) infrastructure, including fiber, ducts, poles and cabinets, for FTTH/FTTx and metro network roll‑outs. This role combines project management, field coordination and technical oversight to ensure timely, safe and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise construction of OSP assets such as fiber routes, ducts, poles and cabinets.
• Manage FTTH/FTTx, backbone, access and metro network rollout projects from survey to right‑of‑way acquisition.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, budgets, timelines and bill‑of‑quantities.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of OSP assets and lead fault resolution and emergency restorations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and telecom regulations.
• Maintain accurate as‑built drawings and GIS documentation.
• Prepare performance, KPI and project reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of telecom OSP experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience delivering FTTH/FTTx projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
