Network Operations Center Engineer

About the role

The Telecom Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer will monitor, maintain, and optimise GVA’s telecommunications network infrastructure. You will work in a 24/7 shift environment to ensure high availability and uninterrupted service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure using NOC tools and respond to alarms.
• Troubleshoot and escalate complex network issues.
• Maintain incident records in ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with field teams for on‑site support.
• Perform routine checks, maintenance, and support upgrades.
• Generate performance and compliance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in network operations or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and in shift rotations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Experience with network monitoring and NOC tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing/incident management systems.
