Operations Manager - Multi-Sector Portfolio

About the role

A multi-sector enterprise in Nigeria is looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across its Real Estate, Entertainment, Telecommunications and Gadget Retail businesses. This is a full-time, multi-unit leadership role that calls for strong business acumen, cost control and the ability to direct different operational processes at once.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and optimise daily operations across all sectors, align commercial, administrative and service delivery units and enforce SOPs and corporate policies.
• Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance and asset tracking; monitor budgets and daily expenses; manage vendors and suppliers to secure quality and cost savings.
• Track KPIs across business units, report to executive management, supervise team leads and set metrics for project execution, order fulfilment and service timelines.
• Identify bottlenecks and delays, make routine operational decisions and run continuous process improvements.
• Act as operational liaison for major clients and partners, ensuring projects and orders are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of operational leadership, business management or general administration experience; multi-sector experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership and people-management skills, and analytical problem-solving.

Required skills

• Financial monitoring, inventory control, KPI tracking and business acumen.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern operational/ERP software.
