Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator will ensure smooth administrative, compliance, HR and finance processes for Spurt Solutions, a non‑profit organization. You will act as the central point of contact for service providers, maintain critical records, and support audit and donor reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a compliance calendar covering statutory filings, donor reporting deadlines, board obligations and regulatory renewals.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, HR and administrative service providers to guarantee timely submissions and filings.
• Keep digital records of registration documents, policies, contracts, licences, tax filings and other governance paperwork.
• Support audit preparation, donor due‑diligence exercises and internal compliance checks.
• Manage HR processes including onboarding, off‑boarding, contract preparation, personnel file maintenance and appraisal coordination.
• Oversee finance tasks such as payroll, stipends, contractor payments, reimbursements, invoice tracking and monthly financial documentation.
• Escalate any compliance risks, payment delays, missing documentation or service‑provider failures promptly.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to track multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across legal, finance, HR and vendor teams.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and document management.
