Non-Executive Director – Corporate Finance & Investment

About the role

The Board seeks an accomplished Non-Executive Director with deep expertise in corporate finance and investment to provide independent oversight and strategic counsel. The role supports sustainable growth, strengthens financial performance, and enhances long‑term shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight and strategic guidance to the Board and executive management, reviewing proposals, investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Advise on corporate finance, capital structure, investment strategy, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and capital‑raising initiatives.
• Support institutional fundraising, leverage networks with investors, DFIs, family offices and banks, and guide equity and debt financing transactions.
• Review financial performance, budgets, forecasts and long‑term projections, offering recommendations to improve profitability and liquidity.
• Ensure robust corporate governance, compliance and enterprise risk management frameworks are maintained.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of progressive executive leadership experience in corporate finance, investment management, banking or related fields.
• Proven track record in capital raising, strategic partnerships, investor relations and value creation.
• Previous board or non‑executive director experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) and professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, etc.) are a plus.
