About the role
This full‑time, on‑site position in Lagos leads the Network Operations Center (NOC). The manager ensures reliable network performance, oversees daily NOC activities, and provides technical support to resolve incidents quickly.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor network and services 24/7 using supervision tools.
- Detect, analyze, and qualify incidents across network, systems and services.
- Track tickets through to resolution and communicate major incidents to stakeholders and customers.
- Ensure SLA compliance for availability and resolution times.
- Lead a team of NOC technicians, coordinating maintenance, upgrades and scheduled operations.
- Document incidents, maintain knowledge bases and contribute to continuous‑improvement processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement best practices for network administration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Networks or IT.
- Initial experience in network monitoring or technical support (a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and customer‑service mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Team‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of IP networks.
- Understanding of fiber infrastructure.
- Experience with routers and switches.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
