Merchant Success Associate

About the role

The Merchant Success Associate acts as a dedicated "Bumpa Expert" who guides new and existing merchants from their first subscription to full operational maturity. The role focuses on smooth onboarding, efficient store setup and sustained business growth by helping merchants use the platform well, while increasing sales volume and Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).

Key responsibilities

• Guide new merchants through onboarding so they are ready to go live.
• Help with store configuration, inventory uploads, payment integration and delivery logistics.
• Manage assigned merchant accounts and build strong, professional relationships with business owners.
• Drive adoption rates and monitor online sales performance to support business expansion.
• Enable merchants to use Bumpa tools for orders, inventory, customers and daily workflows.
• Identify onboarding obstacles early and give practical, immediate solutions.
• Keep regular check-ins with merchants to improve retention, engagement and product use.
• Recommend optimized workflows that make running a business more efficient.
• Share merchant feedback, feature requests and recurring issues with Product, Sales, Engineering and Growth teams.
• Keep accurate records of onboarding progress, account activity and performance metrics.
• Achieve defined targets for onboarding completion, activation, adoption and business growth.
