About the role

CloserMed is seeking qualified psychologists who are interested in the business side of healthcare to join its start‑up as Medical Recruitment Consultants. Working fully remotely, you will help Canadian healthcare organisations recruit physicians from around the globe, directly contributing to improved primary‑care access for underserved communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in physician recruitment through structured training and continuous sector study.
• Understand candidates’ professional and personal needs and match them with suitable opportunities.
• Build trust with candidates, provide creative solutions to their challenges, and close placements.
• Leverage the company’s in‑house tech stack to streamline recruitment workflows.
• Maintain a focus on purpose‑driven outcomes, ensuring placements benefit patients, doctors, and clinics.

Required profile

• Qualified psychologist with a genuine interest in healthcare business and recruitment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
