Medical Doctor (Full‑time, Rotational Shifts)

About the role

St. Rebecca's Specialist Hospital in Asaba is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join its multidisciplinary team. This full‑time, on‑site position is open to candidates who have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and are ready to deliver patient‑centered care across a range of medical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to patients during assigned shift rotations.
• Participate in the hospital’s preventive care and patient‑education initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid licensing to practice medicine in Nigeria.
• Successful completion of the NYSC program or an exemption certificate.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule covering morning, afternoon and night shifts.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑focused care.
