Marketing Officer – Customer Acquisition & B2B

About the role

The Marketing Officer will drive customer acquisition and deposit mobilisation for the bank, building both individual and business relationships. You will promote the bank’s products, convert prospects into active customers, and support cross‑selling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and attract new individual and business customers.
• Mobilise deposits and support growth of the bank’s customer base.
• Convert prospects into active customers through effective follow‑up.
• Develop and manage B2B relationships with businesses, associations, cooperatives and other organisations.
• Promote the bank’s products and services to target markets and work towards marketing, deposit and acquisition targets.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, visits, conversions and follow‑up activities.
• Prepare periodic marketing and business‑development reports.

Required profile

• HND or equivalent qualification in business administration, marketing, banking & finance, economics or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, business development, banking, micro‑finance or financial services.
• Strong communication, persuasion and relationship‑management skills.
• Good understanding of customer acquisition and deposit mobilisation.
