About the role
The Marketer will drive promotion of the bank's products and services, generate new business opportunities, and support deposit mobilization across assigned locations. The role requires an energetic, result‑oriented professional who can engage customers and boost acquisition in the microfinance sector.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and market the bank’s products and services to prospective customers.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field marketing, road shows, and market activations.
- Support deposit mobilization initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Generate quality sales leads and refer potential loan opportunities to the credit team.
- Meet assigned sales, deposit, and marketing targets within specified timelines.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and marketing reports.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, sales, customer acquisition, or deposit mobilization within a financial institution or microfinance bank.
- Strong sales and marketing orientation with a target‑driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet targets.
- Basic understanding of retail banking and financial products.
- HND/B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
