Manager, People and Culture

About the role

The Manager, People and Culture will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive people strategy that supports the organization’s growth objectives in the banking, finance and insurance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a People & Culture strategy aligned with business goals.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession and organizational design.
• Lead talent acquisition, employer branding and onboarding initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, leadership development and career progression programs.
• Champion employee engagement, wellness, recognition and DEI initiatives.
• Develop competitive compensation, benefits and total rewards frameworks.
• Provide strategic guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior executives on strategic workforce issues.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and HR best practices.
