Manager – Energy & Utilities

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead its sales, operations and administrative functions within the Energy & Utilities sector in Port Harcourt. The role focuses on driving revenue growth for transformers and electrical equipment across corporate, industrial and government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Lead and manage the company's sales, operations and administrative functions.
• Drive sales of transformers, electrical equipment and related solutions to corporate, industrial and government clients.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting and performance management activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry developments.
• Ensure excellent customer service and after‑sales support.
• Manage inventory, procurement and supply‑chain activities to ensure product availability.
• Recruit, mentor and supervise staff to achieve high performance.
• Prepare and present business performance reports to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development or management roles.
• Proven experience in the power, electrical equipment, transformer or industrial sales sector.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and business management abilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Good understanding of transformer products, electrical systems and industrial markets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
