Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance activities for Alpha-Plus Apartments, ensuring that hotel facilities operate smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team, managing contractors, and driving cost‑effective solutions that enhance guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contractors, suppliers, budgets, spare parts, tools, and service agreements with strong cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor energy and water usage, identifying efficiency improvements to reduce operating costs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, equipment history, and inspection reports.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, preventive maintenance, and excellent guest service.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and guest‑related issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house facilities, and equipment.
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, kitchen equipment, elevators, fire systems, and other critical services.
• Oversee daily operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of maintenance or facilities management experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a maintenance team.
• Strong competence in managing contractors, budgets, schedules, and emergencies.
• Practical, dependable, hands‑on attitude with a commitment to safety and guest comfort.
