Licensed Salesperson – Hybrid Role in Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a Licensed Salesperson to join Heirs Insurance Group in Lagos. This full‑time hybrid position combines office and remote work, focusing on acquiring new clients and advising them on our comprehensive insurance solutions across general, life, and brokerage lines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients, presenting suitable insurance products.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare quotations, process applications and follow up on renewals.
• Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in CRM tools.
• Meet defined sales and retention targets.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements and company offerings.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of building trust and closing deals.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
• Basic financial literacy and willingness to quickly learn product knowledge across life, general and brokerage insurance.
• Comfort using digital tools and CRM systems for lead management and reporting.
• Relevant insurance licence or eligibility to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services or consultative sales is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and achieve performance targets.
• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred.
