Lead Software Engineer – Mobile Development (Crypto Wallets)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Mobile Development focused on crypto wallet applications. The role combines mobile engineering, blockchain innovation, and technical leadership to build high‑performance React Native apps for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring performance, scalability and a seamless user experience on iOS and Android.
• Provide technical leadership to a small team of mobile engineers, driving architectural decisions, coding standards and timely delivery.
• Architect and maintain mobile foundations such as state management, navigation, modularization, performance optimisation and security.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, SDKs, WebSockets and blockchain services, and contribute to backend components when needed.
• Oversee code quality through reviews, mentoring and hands‑on guidance.
• Work with product managers and designers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate and implement modern mobile tools, frameworks and development patterns.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mobile development with strong expertise in React Native, React, Redux and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams and owning architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines, native build processes and front‑end tooling.
• Experience integrating native modules and working with iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets and backend integration in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js or similar) and ability to contribute to API improvements.
