Key Account Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth by managing strategic client relationships within the Oil & Gas/Energy sector. The role focuses on developing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, supporting tender processes, and delivering on sales targets while maintaining long‑term partnerships with major industry clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Achieve assigned revenue targets through effective account management and business development initiatives.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals and tenders.
• Develop strategic account plans to drive customer retention and revenue growth.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track opportunities through the CRM system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in sales, business development or account management within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of tendering processes and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using CRM systems.
