Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. The role supports the organization’s financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, and payroll processing. The successful candidate will work closely with vendors, clients, and banks to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records and accounting entries.
• Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and track expenses.
• Support payroll processing, statutory payments and monitor budgets for discrepancies.
• Liaise with vendors, clients, banks and other stakeholders on financial matters.
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation.

• Good communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
