Janitor

About the role

The Janitor will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff at TIPPYTOES KIDCARE. This full‑time position involves routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and security tasks across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish all floor surfaces.
• Clean, sanitize and restock restrooms with soap and paper products.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and transport trash to outdoor dumpsters.
• Dust furniture, wipe counters and clean windows or glass surfaces.
• Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and tightening fixtures.
• Secure the building by locking doors, turning off lights and reporting safety hazards.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/NECO OND qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in cleaning services.
• Willingness to work outside regular office hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for caring for young children.
