Inventory Manager

About the role

The Inventory Manager will lead inventory operations for both physical stores and the e‑commerce platform of RovingHeights Bookstore in Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures stock availability, accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and optimise stock levels for retail stores and online sales.
• Coordinate purchases, replenishment and accurate recording of all inventory movements.
• Analyse sales and inventory data to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Maintain organised storage areas and implement controls to reduce losses and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with store teams, logistics and customer service to support smooth order fulfilment.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and recommend process and system improvements.

Required profile

• Strong inventory control and management experience, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
• Solid analytical skills to interpret sales data and forecast demand.
• Effective communication and customer‑service orientation for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail, strong organisational abilities and a proactive approach in a fast‑paced environment.
• A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
