Internal Interview Assessor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Interview Assessor to lead final‑stage interviews for strategic and leadership hires within our financial institution. This role evaluates candidates using competency‑based interviewing, behavioural assessment, psychological insight, and structured evaluation frameworks to provide objective hiring recommendations to Executive Management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct final interviews for shortlisted candidates across multiple business functions.
• Assess candidates' behavioural competencies, leadership capability, cultural fit, and role suitability.
• Apply competency frameworks and structured interview methodologies to ensure objective and consistent hiring decisions.
• Interpret assessment outcomes (psychometric, behavioural, cognitive and personality reports) to support recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive interview reports highlighting strengths, risks, and hiring recommendations.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Leadership to strengthen assessment quality and hiring standards.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in Talent Assessment, Organisational Psychology, Executive Recruitment, or Human Resources.
• Strong expertise in competency‑based interviewing, behavioural assessment, psychological profiling, and structured evaluation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to assess executive and senior management talent.
• Excellent analytical, report writing, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills.
• High level of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
