Internal Communication Officer

About the role

The Internal Communication Officer will support SPIE Services Nigeria Limited in delivering consistent, engaging internal communications across the organisation. The role involves creating and managing content for a variety of digital and print platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement approved internal communication plans and cascade key messages to all staff groups and locations.
• Gather, validate, and synthesize information from departments, assets, and functions for internal dissemination.
• Write, edit, and publish high‑quality content for intranet, Viva Engage, OneCom Nigeria, Focus Nigeria, TUPNEWS, Bridgers Magazine, and internal newsletters, aiming for at least 100 internal stories per year.
• Conduct interviews with managers, functional leads, and employees to support editorial content.
• Provide coverage of events such as management visits, asset activities, safety campaigns, and community engagements, producing post‑event reports, feature articles, and photo stories.
• Assist leadership with drafting speeches, talking points, presentations, and internal messages.
• Maintain and update content on intranet and Viva Engage platforms, creating basic visual and multimedia communication assets.
