Insurance Advisor – Client Acquisition & Sales

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Insurance Advisor to join Cornerstone Limited in Port Harcourt. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, understanding their insurance needs and delivering appropriate solutions while contributing to the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calling and other lead‑generation methods.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess insurance needs and recommend suitable products.
• Present policy benefits, coverage options and pricing clearly to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Follow up on leads, negotiate terms where applicable and close sales effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy applications and sales activities in company systems.
• Achieve individual sales targets and support overall business profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Insurance or a related field.
• At least 12 months of experience in sales, business development, customer service or insurance marketing (advantageous).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
