About the role
Zitelle Group, a manufacturing company in Anambra State, is looking for an experienced In‑House Legal Counsel to support its operations in Awka.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on business and operational matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Advise the organisation on Nigerian Labour Law and employment‑related matters.
- Identify and manage potential legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical guidance to management.
- Liaise with external legal advisers and relevant stakeholders when required.
Required profile
- LL.B degree and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant professional experience, preferably in an in‑house legal counsel capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
- Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
