Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support our infrastructure projects in Abuja. The role involves conducting geological and geotechnical investigations, analysing subsurface conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compliant construction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform geological and geotechnical field investigations, including soil sampling and borehole logging.
• Analyse laboratory test results, geological maps and survey data to inform design decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical and site investigation reports.
• Assist in foundation and earthwork assessments for infrastructure projects.
• Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with engineering and geological specifications.
• Identify potential geotechnical risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate closely with civil, structural, geological and surveying teams.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Geology, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in infrastructure, construction, geology or geotechnical projects (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, engineering geology and foundation principles.
• Ability to read and interpret geological and engineering drawings.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Willingness to work on project sites as required.
