Independent Business Development Partner – Multiple Sectors

About the role

AlphaIT Engineering is seeking three Kenya‑based independent Business Development Partners for a 30‑day commercial pilot. Each partner will focus on a specific market segment – Hospitality & Food Service, Logistics & Transport, or Fintech & Financial Services – and work directly with the founder to generate qualified opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a targeted list of credible businesses in the assigned sector.
• Engage owners, founders, general managers and other decision‑makers to uncover operational or financial‑infrastructure challenges.
• Collect qualification data on problem urgency, decision authority and payment capability.
• Arrange and prepare discovery meetings for the AlphaIT founder.
• Log all interactions and opportunities in the approved CRM within 24 hours.
• Support proposal follow‑up and the commercial process within defined authority limits.

Required profile

• Strong network or ability to quickly develop contacts in the assigned sector.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality and professional standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a CRM system for tracking leads and activities.
