Implementation Engineer

About the role

The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for deploying and managing host-to-host configurations for payment service providers on the UP PTSA platform. The role ensures that integrations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements and contribute to the platform’s reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure host-to-host connections for payment service providers.
• Validate integrations against industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and improve platform performance, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document integration processes and maintain technical records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related applied science.
• 4–7 years of experience in software development, system integration or application support.
• Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with electronic payments and digital services.
• Business analysis or project-management experience is a plus.
• Programming knowledge is advantageous.

Required skills

• Requirement analysis and documentation.
• Understanding of payment card concepts and techniques.
• Management of certificates and cryptographic keys.
• Working with APIs and web services (JSON, XML, webhooks).
