Human Resources Officer

About the role

HDT Nigeria Limited is looking for an entry-level Human Resources officer based in Lagos, Marina. The role covers the full recruitment cycle, onboarding, employee records, training coordination and performance monitoring, and ensures compliance with company policies and labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews and hiring
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified employees
• Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programmes
• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, contracts and HR documentation
• Organise staff training and development programmes
• Monitor employee performance and support performance appraisal systems
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations and labour laws

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of recruitment, employee relations and HR practices
• Previous HR experience is an advantage but not compulsory
