Human Resources Manager

About the role

This Human Resources Manager position leads full-cycle recruitment and HR operations in Nigeria, reporting directly to the HR Business Partner based in China. The role acts as the main link between the local office and HQ and works with business leaders to align HR strategy with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, offer management, candidate communication and on/offboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with local labour laws and company standards.
• Oversee compensation and benefits administration, payroll coordination and compliance.
• Promote employee engagement and maintain a safe, organized and productive work environment.
• Handle employee relations issues, grievances and disciplinary matters fairly and promptly.
• Manage HR administrative operations, including office management, workplace facilities and supplies and vendor relations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR management experience, ideally in a multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Nice to have: experience in fintech, online lending platforms, startups or high-growth environments; background in compensation benchmarking or salary market analysis.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; local language skills are a plus.
