Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR functions for Adassa Group's manufacturing operations, ensuring policies and practices support a productive and compliant workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with manufacturing best practices.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and placement.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee performance management, training, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Administer staff welfare, attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management.

Required profile

• HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Manager, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Proactive, firm, and capable of managing a large workforce.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRMS tools.
