Human Resource Manager

About the role

PC Recruit Nigeria is hiring a Human Resource Manager based in Lagos, Marina. The role covers the full range of HR functions, from policy and recruitment to employee relations, performance management and payroll support, and advises management on HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and strategies
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee retention
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution
• Manage performance appraisals and performance improvement processes
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company policies
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Develop staff training, career development and capacity-building programmes
• Manage payroll inputs, attendance, leave and other employee benefits
• Advise management on HR matters and workforce planning
• Promote a positive, productive workplace culture
• Prepare HR reports and workforce insights for management
• Supervise and coordinate the HR team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a structured or corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, recruitment, employee relations and Nigerian labour regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM is an added advantage
