HR Shared Services Specialist

About the role

Dangote Industries Limited is looking for an HR Shared Services Specialist for its Head Office in Lagos. The specialist implements and coordinates approved HR shared services activities at DCP Headquarters, ensuring efficient service delivery across employee welfare, travel administration, expatriate support and employee engagement programmes while complying with company policies and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the medical and HMO scheme for DCP Nigeria employees and resolve escalated issues
• Run crèche operations and manage vendors
• Plan and administer expatriate leave and coordinate international and local travel
• Organise year-end employee activities and welfare programmes
• Liaise with internal and external service providers and monitor service delivery standards
• Prepare periodic reports, utilisation statistics and management updates for the Head, Administration & Services

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Human Resources or a related discipline is an added advantage
• At least 9 years of relevant experience in HR Shared Services or Employee Services
• Preference for candidates with HMO management experience and strong MS Excel skills

Required skills

• Understanding of HR Shared Services in a matrix organisation and of employee service delivery practices
• Basic knowledge of trends, regulations and challenges in the manufacturing sector
• Leadership, stakeholder, negotiation and vendor management skills
• Problem-solving, analytical, planning and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems
