HR Manager – Travel & Tours

About the role

Our client seeks to hire a results‑driven HR Manager to oversee and drive people‑management strategies across the organization. The role requires a strong HR generalist with solid experience in recruitment, performance management, and organizational development, with the ability to build structure, improve processes, and enhance workforce productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
• Drive the implementation of HR strategies, policies, and processes across the organization.
• Oversee employee lifecycle management including onboarding, performance management, and exit processes.
• Develop and implement people development initiatives to improve employee performance and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, fostering trust and a positive work environment.
• Monitor and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
• Manage HR reporting, workforce data, and organizational structure across multiple business locations.
• Support leadership in driving productivity, culture, and performance across teams.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and best HR practices.
• Provide guidance to management on people‑related matters and organizational development.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in an HR Lead function.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience within travel, hospitality, aviation, or service‑driven industry.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, performance management, and HR operations.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience managing HR operations across multiple business locations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent thinking ability.
• Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive employee productivity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS platforms.
