HR Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team at Davidorlah Farms. The role involves assisting with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll support and various administrative tasks in a fast‑moving manufacturing and warehousing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Post job vacancies, screen CVs, schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation and preparation of employment letters, confirmation letters, memos and other personnel documents.
• Monitor attendance, lateness, leave and absence records and provide data for payroll processing.
• Support performance appraisal, staff training, disciplinary processes and employee relations as needed.
• Assist with statutory and compliance‑related HR documentation.
• Perform other administrative and HR duties assigned by the HR Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, administration or a related role.
• Good understanding of basic HR practices and employment procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with recruitment and candidate screening is an advantage.
• CIPM certification or professional HR training is a plus.
