HR & Admin Manager

About the role

The HR & Admin Manager will lead both human‑resources and administrative functions for a hospitality business in Abuja. This senior‑level position combines strategic HR leadership with day‑to‑day office management to ensure a compliant, efficient, and engaging workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and people initiatives.
• Oversee full recruitment cycle, onboarding, employee documentation and workforce planning.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances and compliance with Nigerian labour law.
• Drive performance management, appraisals, training needs analysis and employee development.
• Prepare payroll inputs, maintain accurate employee records and generate regular HR reports.
• Supervise office operations, facilities, supplies, vendor relationships and asset management.
• Coordinate procurement, maintenance, security, cleaning and other workplace services.
• Control administrative expenses, maintain licences, permits and support travel, meetings and events.
• Produce periodic administrative reports and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage recruitment, performance, payroll and employee relations.
• Experience overseeing office administration, facilities and vendor management.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
