Hotel Manager

About the role

Khadasha Innovations Africa is hiring a hotel manager in Lagos (Marina) to oversee the daily operations of its hotel and ensure smooth coordination across all departments. The role covers staff supervision, guest service, revenue monitoring and operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other operational units.
• Ensure high standards of guest service and handle guest complaints and escalated issues promptly.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline and compliance with hotel policies.
• Oversee room reservations, check-ins, check-outs, occupancy and guest experience.
• Monitor revenue, expenses and operational costs, and assist in developing operational budgets and cost-control measures.
• Monitor supplies, equipment and inventory to minimise wastage, and conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities and public areas.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, security and maintenance standards, and comply with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and contractors, and work with teams to improve occupancy, revenue and customer retention.
• Monitor guest feedback, support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of staff, and prepare regular operational and performance reports.

Required profile

• HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant hotel or hospitality experience, with previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple departments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations and hospitality standards.
• Cost control, inventory management and basic financial management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with hotel/property management systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
