Front Desk Officer

About the role

NJZC International Construction is hiring a Front Desk Officer in Lagos (Marina). The role covers welcoming guests, handling enquiries and complaints, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, and providing administrative and clerical support to the team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally on arrival and departure.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance so rooms are ready for guests.
• Uphold hotel policies, grooming standards and service quality at all times.
• Receive and direct incoming calls, messages and inquiries to the right people.
• Answer basic client questions and give accurate information about the company's services and properties.
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents and packages.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the team.

Required profile

• HND in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk, customer service, administrative or similar role.
• Previous hospitality or related service experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication and good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office tools.
