Head Teacher

About the role

The Head Teacher will provide academic and administrative leadership for the school, ensuring high‑quality teaching and a safe learning environment. Reporting to senior management, the role combines curriculum oversight, staff supervision, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teachers and support staff, fostering professional conduct and performance.
• Coordinate lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and instructional activities.
• Monitor teaching quality, observe classrooms, and give constructive feedback.
• Maintain academic schedules, timetables, and school calendars.
• Track student attendance, performance, behaviour and address learning gaps.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures and academic standards.
• Organise staff meetings, training sessions and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and resolve concerns.
• Support admissions, examinations, school events and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare reports on academic performance, staff activities and overall school operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) minimum.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar educational leadership role.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
